last-minute homework

I'm not sure if it really was a homework but if it was, that was her first homework. We were getting ready for bed and that's when she remembered,

Mommy, I have to draw a submarine.

A submarine? Why do you need to draw a submarine?

Ms. D told me to draw a submarine.

When are you suppose to draw the submarine?

Ms. D said to draw a submarine when I get home.

I see, OK, go downstairs and draw, and you'd better hurry up.

Why?

Cause, it's bedtime.
